Since 2018 I have been studying the issue of memory policy in the context of the Holocaust in Poland and the USA.<\/h3><p>It is within the borders of these two countries that there are emblematic places of memory.<span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">One of them is the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, which was established on the site of the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp. In the United States, the Holocaust Memorial which is located right next to the Washington obelisk, was built from scratch.
